Colorado -- Red Rocks Amphitheatre

Our trip to Denver of few days, the weather is very bad, it rains every day. But we would like to see Red Rocks Amphitheatre emotions that did not decrease. We drive car traveling in the Rocky Mountains, from Denver, Colorado, where 15 kilometers west along the mountain circled.

On the slopes of the Rocky Mountains, "Red Rocks Amphitheatre" builds in Colorado "Red Rocks Park". The Red Rocks Park is surrounded by 868 acres of deer, dinosaurs, pine trees and grassland, geological wonders, spectacular views. At an altitude of 6450 feet, Red Rocks Park is a unique transition zone, the Great Plains to the Rocky Mountains. The diverse environment allows visitors to see plants, birds and animals of both regions.

Red Rocks in the wilderness remote places lonely thousands of years. Until the early 1900s, John Brisben Walker through here was in front of huge Red Rocks attractive. With musical talent John Brisben Walker's first reaction was, here is a great natural theater. If the music here sounded perfect acoustic environment echoed in Red Rocks like snuggling on the stage. This is the world auditory perfect amphitheater.



Driven by dreams of John Brisben Walker organized the first open-air concert in May 1906, there are 25 brass music played here. His concert gets a great success. The history of Red Rocks as an entertainment venue began.

In 1927, Denver Park Manager George Cranmer persuaded the Denver mayor and spent $ 54,133 dollars from John Brisben Walker bought the Red Rocks area. George Cranmer convinced the Mayor of Denver; the Stapleton (Ben Stapleton) in Walker Red Rocks lays the basis to build an amphitheater, and has been sponsored by the federal government to protect the civilian population group work items Authority, the joint

In June 15, 1941 amphitheater was built. Since 1947, it held regular concerts each year. Quarterly on Easter day is the first show of the day. Attracting world famous band from Sting and The Beatles,     opera star and U2 in this magical, spiritual and emotional stages, each an artist eager to play.

Red Rocks amphitheater which can accommodate 9,450 people Rock and Roll parties often held here. Crazy Rock sounded, the audience nearly cry, that scene is how earthquakes shake heaven and earth. In June 1971 of a Rock concert, a thousand spectators cannot buy tickets. Behind the police allow them to listen to music in the theater. But these people cannot see the band; they tried to storm the theater. Police used tear gas, harming the theater crowd. The incident led to Denver ban on Rock concert held in Red Rock amphitheater, the results led to a five-year lawsuit. In 1976 the court ruled against the government, the Rock band, he returned to Red Rocks amphitheater.

Red Rocks originally known as the angel garden (1870 - 1906). later known as the Giant Garden (1906 - 1927). Boulder taller than Niagara Falls, Red Rock amphitheater was once listed as the world's seven wonders.
