Starting from Boulder, through the city and along Highway 36 about 30 miles (40 minutes), we arrived at East Entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park (Beaver Meadows Visitor Center). Fare is 20 dollar a car, selling tickets told us that ticket is valid for seven days. Enter the park gate, that's mountain highways, roads are another curved upwards, the distant mountains is our goal. We drove through the forest road about 10 miles to more than 200 parking spaces, we spare a lot of laps, got the parking lot.

Hiking trail from the Bear Lake Trailhead, through Dream Lake, Haiyaha Lake, The Loch, and Lake of Glass, reach Sky Pond. To standing in the more than ten thousand feet high Rocky Mountains, looking up at Taylor Peak (4009m), Powell peak (4026m), and McHenrys Peak (4062m), snow peaks, lush evergreen pine forests, colorful lakes , clouds around the mountains, a human feeling in the clouds.

Hiking, due to rising sea level, regardless of the thirsty, we must constantly drink water to avoid altitude sickness. To the downhill, we have almost completed the water and without food for energyWe did not have experience for hikingWe only stop and go, spending six hours, returning to before the parking lot. That tired, is indescribable in words.

Driving out from the parking lot, we wanted to come along the road to go back to Denver. Mountain roads crisscrossing, so we are on the Highway 7. Along Highway 7, exceptionally beautiful scenery along the way, snowy and flowers coexists, fresh air, covered with dense forest. We stop at the "Wild Basin" Entrance and leave a photo. Remember the wrong way.

Also people frequented the center of Rocky Mountain National Park; it is the Trail Ridge Road, the highest road in North America. The road along the Continental Divide spans 32 kilometers of tundra. In fine weather, in this way you can see the North Wyoming.
