I am a person who loves to eat. Although my body is kind of easy to grow meat, but I still want to eat. But this is a big difference between eating with, and some people like fresh vegetables. Some people like to eat meat, use a thick sauce. Some people like seafood, and seafood must be live. And I, anything I like to eat, anything to be able that is delicious.  After eating, began to worry: As the saying goes easily eat, lose weight difficult and it is really hard work. Now that came to New Orleans, I always still want to eat, is not it?

New Orleans has a colorful history and geographical location, it has a rich culinary tradition and resources. In New Orleans, there are two words are very common, one is Creole, and the other is a Cajun. Creole refers to the earliest French descent. Later, refers to the French descent, Hispanic descent, and mixed race with the locals they are collectively known as Creoles. Their cooking and cuisine is called Creole Food. The Cajun refers from Nova Scotia, Canada area along the Mississippi River rafting came to settle in New Orleans's French descent. Since then the British and French colonies compete for Canada's war, makes a lot of French people settled home in New Orleans.

Creole and Cajun, all are French descent. But their diet as well as some differences. Cajun food is closer to the French countryside dishes, cooking is simple, with New Orleans local spices and ingredients combined with extensive use of spicy condiments, most notably spicy crawfish and seafood chowder (Gumbo). Creole food is closer to the traditional flavor of Europe, but the Creole food affected France, Spain, Africa and the Caribbean cuisine, dreams, the most famous gourmet seafood fried rice (Jambalaya), crayfish poured rice (Crawfish Etouffee), oysters and so on.

Because the annual Mardi Gras, New Orleans became world-famous tourist city, so here you can find any kind of cuisine, French, Spanish, Italian, Mexican, Caribbean flavor, the Middle East flavor, flavor Greek, Chinese, Japanese , and even a street in Vietnam, and of course authentic South American cuisine. It is said that there are more than three thousand restaurants in New Orleans, if you go in a restaurant every day, to ten years to finish.

The American-style breakfast has sausage, but New Orleans specialty Grilled Ham instead of sausage. All restaurants in New Orleans are large quantity of food, my breakfast with two eggs, four ham, mashed potatoes, toast, and muffins, accompanied by a cup of coffee. On the breakfast, there is grits, which is unique to New Orleans, like cracked corn soup in northern China, is also good to eat.

It is said that the recession workers strike, there was a street car driver Clove Martin and his wife, Benny, and they offer free such sandwiches to workers strike, the French baguette cut, which put all kinds of meat and vegetables, put to almost overflow. Because the workers are poor boys, so this sandwich called the Poor-Boy. After many years evolved into Po'boy. Photo no reference, in fact, this Po'boy half of adult arms so long.

Cafe Du Monde, which is located in the Mississippi River has 150 years of history cafes. It is every visitor to New Orleans, must be going there. No matter what time through, there is always someone in a long line. This dessert is a specialty in coffee shop, they call it: beignets. It is really good to eat, sweet but not greasy, the price is very reasonable. 3 beignets are more than $ 2. I came half an hour to buy six. I like it to become the next day's breakfast, of course, did not forget to buy a cup of coffee, fragrant and delicious.

In New Orleans, there are three special food (the Holy Trinity), seafood chowder (Gumbo), seafood fried rice (Jambalaya), crayfish poured rice (Crawfish Etouffee). But I have been unable to try it, I must leave here. Grilled oysters (Charcoal broiled oyster), fresh oysters, which has always been my love. Even in the coastal city where I live, which I also taste it.
