To protect this peculiar geological environment, but also allows all people have a fair chance to visit this beautiful paradise. The Wave, that where the Vermilion Cliffs National Monument allowed only twenty people a day hike into The Wave.

In the twenty tourists, which has ten tourists from the network, they must participate in the draw (Lottery) in the three months to go before. Another ten visitors in a day in advance, to Highway 89, located at Paria Contact Station location between Kanab and Page to draw (Lottery) to determine. Fortunately, only need to pay six dollars per person and get walking waves Valley road map.The next day they can walk into the Valley of Waves. The Wave's Wonderland has already let me dream into its territory. But this fair draw, it is even more amazed, so I am very eager to travel to The Wave. But I also understand that to get Park Permit, it is by luck. So do travel plans, we have thought, we do not have luck. We stayed two nights in Page, Arizona, on the second day to explore the surrounding attractions in Page, Arizona. If the second day we are lucky, to get Park Permit. In the third day we went to tour to The Wave. If we are not lucky, did not get the Park Permit, we will go back to the city of Phoenix.

The second day we got up at 6:30 in the morning, drove to Paria Contact Station, which is 30 miles from Page Arizona. We go there, is to participate in the lottery, for the next day into the park permit.

The Paria Contact Station addresses, even on the official website also expressed unclear. We can only thorough search on the web, that Paria Contact Station at 200 meters off  at Highway 89, it was in place between the two cities Page, Arizona and Kanab, Utah. It is thirty miles from Page, Arizona; forty miles from Kanab, Utah.

When we arrived at the Paria Contact Station, where there is already some people waiting. When the clock reaches 9:00 am, the office staff to open the door on time. The people of waiting influx this little office. People take in the order form, fill in a form and wait for the draw. In a short time, some people cheered, they get the park permit. Some people sigh, maybe they have repeatedly come here to draw, but not lucky. Friendly office staff to quiet for cheer people, people of sigh are encouraged, hoping repeatedly to enter the draw.

Although we did not get the park permit, but I have been very satisfied. I've tried, and I also vaguely feel that this is not the time to let me go to the tourist of The Wave. God has also been expressed, such a beautiful place, I will travel there. I have a miss in my life for The Wave, it is beautiful!

I saw some travel diary from other people on the web. Only once participated Lottery, to get people park permit, it is not easy. Some people live in Page, Arizona for a week, every morning to try their luck in the Paria Contact Station. Anyway, Page, Arizona is a very pleasant trip, a holiday where everyone would have been very fulfilling and happy.
