Germany, Hamburg -- Blankenese

Blankenese is an area west of Hamburg, close to the Elbe. In fact, the North German terrain is very flat, especially in the Hamburg area, can be chosen in the western city of Hamburg has a little ups and downs, this is Blankenese.

Blankenese, its name comes from the Low German Blanc ness, meaning white promontory in the Elbe River.

Blankenese is a former independent town, now a suburban quarter in the borough Altona in the western part of Hamburg (Germany). It is located on right bank of the Elbe River.

Do not underestimate the hills in the west of Hamburg, which has southern flavor and exquisite residential area. Blankenese area has a long history from a small fishing village along the Elbe.

Through the narrow gravel road on the hillside, you can see the streets lined with unique garden and house. Especially in spring and summer, the garden in front of the house with a variety of flowers in full bloom, it is as beautiful as a fairy tale.
