More than 60 kilometers away from the north of Hamburg, 40 minutes by local train, where there is a small town, which is the ancient Hanseatic - Luebeck, which is located in Trave River, 14 km from the Baltic Sea. It is the center of the Hanseatic League, it has been called the "Hanseatic Queen." It is a jewel of the 12th century, with more than 1000 historic architecture of the city. In 1987, it is listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

Map of the Old City area is elliptical, its ends approximately 1 km long, surrounded by the river, surrounded by beautiful scenery. In the Old City area, there are many medieval buildings, residential red brick and tile roof of house, classical, Gothic, Baroque, Rococo, different style. Its herringbone streets, alleys extending in all directions. That monuments along the street, that was brilliant and rich legacy of cultural wealth, it is a landscape of Luebeck.

Walking in Lubeck, shuttling those red tile building, as if through the old medieval, engaged in song and laughter. Luebeck, it makes me feel the deepest, oldest German art. Lubeck, which historically has had one of the richest parts of Europe.

Old Town Hall, which is located in the center of Luebeck, it's a very long history, dating back to the 13th century. Of course, I still like those alleys and old streets, it always give you a surprise, because the streets are so narrow, sometimes very tortuous, so you never know what will see in front of, or turn a toe into another more delicate side street, or suddenly in front of the open, that catches your eye is a quiet little square, or a grand house hidden from your sight, to look up to watch and know it.

We wade detailed in this city, thin narrow streets, touching those nameless room with the door, those traces left by years, only the most able to feel its real charm.

When I left Luebeck, just incredibly hard time, the air was saturated with dark melancholy, as if hear whispered shallow sing medieval minstrel.
