We live in the hotel, near the Inner Alster Lake. Out of the hotel every day, I go through Jungfernstieg, go to the subway station. Walking in Jungfernstieg Street, I can see much of the top St. Petri Church. It is the oldest parish church in the city of Hamburg. It may be founded in the 11th century. St. Petri Church has a 132-meter-high tower, tourists can be reached by 544 steps.

You will follow the instructions of the church began in a narrow spiral staircase, church bells, tower clock, and finally climbing through the copper tower. There are several platforms spiral staircase, so you can catch your breath and take in the view, from time to time. When you stand on the St. Petri Church tower, you can see the Binnenalster and Außenalster, you can also see the spectacular City Hall and City Hall Square. But you have to climb 544 stairs - because there is no elevator. If the summer is very hot in the copper tower. They do that when you drop back to provide water. If your strength is not a problem, it is worth a visit.
