Wisconsin, Milwaukee - in fact, it was beautiful

Milwaukee, which is the largest city and lake port in Wisconsin, located west shore of Lake Michigan. It is also a veteran of the beer capital of America, Harley's hometown. Indians indigenous inhabitants called "secret Mierlo - Waukegan", meaning "beautiful land", and therefore have the name of the city of Milwaukee.





Lake Michigan

Lake Michigan is the Great Lakes region of North America, it is the only one of the Great Lakes entirely in the United States. The other four Great Lakes is shared by the United States and Canada.

Milwaukee Art Museum

Milwaukee Art Museum, built in 1882, which is located on Lake Michigan, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It has more than 30,000 works of art in the collection. There is another art museum next to the old building, it is War Memorial by Eero Saarinen designed in 1957. In 2001, the Milwaukee Art Museum expansion again, Quadracci Pavilion designed by Santiago Calatrava Valls. Milwaukee Art Museum building in any place, it will definitely be a stunning, other building cannot be compared with it. 2001 by the US "Time" magazine's Annual Design standings, the Milwaukee Art Museum was elected first.

Santiago Calatrava Valls is one of the world's most famous and innovative architects, but also controversial architect. Art gallery like a ship, sail on the mast, will vary the strength of sunlight or open or with rope. Art Gallery inside the white walls, white doors, white, the white windows, like white cabin.







Basilica of St. Josaphat
 
Built in 1901, the Basilica of St. Josaphat's church, which is located near the village of North Lincoln, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, it is a Roman Catholic Church.

The Basilica of St. Josaphat was dedicated to Josaphat Kuncevyc, a Ruthenian martyr and saint of the Roman Catholic Church, as well as of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church.
