6 Days Road Trip – ( II ) Chicago, IL

June 29, the sun began to rise, my son did not want to get up. I told my husband that we first eat breakfast, he can sleep a little longer time. When we came to the restaurant, which is very lively. Many tourists like us, we must embark on travel itinerary.

After breakfast, we tour again to downtown Chicago, where we met our son. Together we went to Navy Pier. At 2003, our family came to Chicago tourism. We had dinner at the Navy Pier.  After ten years, and our friends who travel together, they moved to a new place, with new challenges.

After World War I, Navy Pier is the world's largest pier. It played an important role in a time of World War I and World War II. But now it has no any military atmosphere. Restaurants, Shopping malls, Cinemas, Ferris wheel, Carousel, it has become a children's playground. In fact, I was wondering, why a Navy Pier on Lake Michigan, it was the largest marina in a World War I?

There are two viewing towers can be in Chicago. One is the highest Willis Tower, which has a transparent floor. Another is John Hancock, it is from the lake close. If you go to the viewing platform, to buy tickets 18 dollars a person. Restaurants in 95 layers at John Hancock. Signature Lounge in 96 layers, but it is a bar. A glass of wine containing with tax and tip a total of 20 dollars, you can also look at location 96 layers. Signature Lounge does not accept reservations. To the John Hancock downstairs you can ask security. Signature Lounge and the viewing platform is different elevator up. If you think $20, it is too expensive, that you can go to toilet of 96 layers, where the entire surface of a floor to ceiling windows, that is free!

Lunch time, we went to the restaurant --Lou Malnati's Pizza. This best pizza restaurants in Chicago. It is home to the best deep dish pizza. It has stayed true to the original deep dish pizza recipe for over 40 years.

From Lou Malnati's Pizza came out, we will leave Chicago, and go to the Sioux Falls, SD,and arrive in at around 22:00. From Chicago to Sioux Falls, SD, has 580 miles, driving the need nine hours.

In the evening, there are few cars driving on highway. However, for safety reasons, we have been jokes. One to help the driver to see the road sign. Two to prevent the driver fell asleep. There are even more important to help the driver to observe deer, that's the real killers. To be able safely to arrive Sioux Falls, SD, we only want to see the deer, do not hit it. In that case, we have to consider how to go to Sioux Falls, SD.
