Germany, Lübeck - Culture and Art History Museum

Lübeck not only has a lot of historic buildings, as well as many small museums: Museum tender as Sankt-Annen-Museum, Behnhaus and Holstentor. Luebeck Puppet Theatre Museum is a privately run museum. Shipbuilding and shipping museum in the old ship (Schiffbau-und Schifffahrtsmuseum auf dem Traditionsschiff) is reminiscent of the past, as the main transport and multi-masted sailing the high side in trade era, Rostock shipping industry's golden age. The ancient St. Catherine's Church (Katharinenkirche), located in Lubeck. It is a red brick and built Gothic church. It was once a Franciscan monastery, with St. Catherine's name. It was built in 1300-1370 years. St. Catherine's Church (Katharinenkirche) no church tower. Now St. Catherine's Church (Katharinenkirche) has developed into an art museum.

St. Catherine's Church facade is decorated with 20 century by Ernst Barlach and Gerhard Marcks carved fired brick, very elegant, amazing. Since 1980, St. Catherine's Church (Katharinenkirche) ,the exhibits include a copy of Saint George and the Dragon made by Bernt Notke for Storkyrkan in Stockholms Gamla Stan, an Epitaph by Godfrey Kneller in memory of his father and another one by Tintoretto, the Resurrection of Lazarus.



Burgkloster (Castle monastery)

The famous North German medieval monastery built in 1277. After the Reformation changed almshouses, since the late 19th century as a court and detention center. Holy Spirit Hospital (Heiligen-Geist-Hospital)

Behind this substantial wall paintings of the Holy Spirit Hospital (Heiligen-Geist-Hospital), they are engaged in renovation. Holy Spirit Hospital (Heiligen-Geist-Hospital) located in the northern Lübeck, Germany's best preserved medieval hospital, founded in 1286. Holy Spirit Hospital (Heiligen-Geist-Hospital) is one of the oldest hospitals in Germany, it is also one of the oldest social institution in Europe. This is one of the most enduring of all medieval buildings. Holy Spirit Hospital (Heiligen-Geist-Hospital) was the monks' dormitory in the Middle Ages, it is now being used as a nursing home.

Each year in December, the Holy Spirit Hospital (Heiligen-Geist-Hospital) in front of an open space, that is, Christmas crafts market.
